Chapter 2 discusses about RMI-IIOP, which was used as the communication mechanism for this project between the manager and agent model. Chapter 3 discusses about general concepts of Network Management System and its basic functional areas. Chapter 4 describes about Transaction Language-1 protocol and design of various packages developed in this project. Chapter 5 explains about Manager Agent paradigm. Chapter 6 summarizes the results of this project and possible idea for future work.
